Ve středu 29.01.2014 Byli vyhlášeny finální nominace na letošní ročník cen akademie. Nejvíce jich získali Miranda Lambert a Tim McGraw - každý z nich 7.
Hned za nimi je se šesti Keith Urban. Lee Brice, Kacey Musgraves, Blake Shelton a Taylor Swift mají po pěti. Dále je pak Florida Georgia Line a Lady Antebellum, kteří mohou získat ocenění ve dvou kategoriích.
Závěrečný ceremoniál cen Academy of Country Music se letos odehraje 6. dubna v Las Vegas. Večerem budou stejně jako loni provázet Blake Shelton a Luke Bryan.
Miranda Lambert dostala svou třetí nominaci v kategotii Umělec Roku/Entertainer of the Year a osmou v řadě na Zpěvačku Roku/Female Vocalist of the Year. Nutno dodat, že třikrát tuto kategorii vyhrála a to samé při podzimních cenách asociace.
Tim McGraw má také sedm nominací nicméně dvě znich získal jako producent singlu "Highway Don't Care", který nazpíval společně s Taylor Swift a kde kytary nahrál Keith Urban a který byl nominová na Single Roku/Single Record of the Year a Hudební událost Roku/Vocal Event of the Year awards.
Fanoušci mohou, jako již tradičně volit v kategoriích Objev Roku/New Artist of the Year a Umělec Roku/Entertainer of the Year. Objev roku již probíhá od 21.ledna a Umělce Roku můžeme začít volit až zhruba 2 týdny před závěrečným večerm, tedy 24. března ve 3 p.m. mistního času.
Obě hlasování probíhají na VoteACM.com. První kolo hlasování pro bojev roku však končí již v úterý 4. února. Druhé kolo pak proběhně ve stejném čase jako volba Umělce Roku.
